KIET Group Of Institute is one of the Best Engg College in Ghaziabad, Top B.Tech Institute & MBA in Ghaziabad offering MBA, MCA & B.Tech.The institute was started in 1998 under the aegis of the Krishna Charitable Trust. The college was then affiliated to the Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra. Later it came under UPTU(Uttar Pradesh Technical University) after the latter was formed. UPTU was renamed GBTU (Gautam Buddh Technical University). Later GBTU was split into two separate universities, one retaining the original name Gautam Buddh Technical University, and the other named Mahamaya Technical University. Institute is affiliated to Mahamaya Technical University.[6][7] but finally GBTU and MTU combined. This merger of universities was renamed as UPTU, but later changed to APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). Now the institute is affiliated to AKTU, under the Uttar Pradesh Governance.
